Summer Art Gallery

Each year the Denman Island Summer Gallery puts on about six summer-season shows featuring new and long-term artists.  The shows are free . Volunteer members of the Gallery bring a touch of professional curation to a lively artist community. Our aim is to advance the careers of artists by putting on carefuly mounted shows  in the Arts Centre, the former home of long-time resident Dora Drinkwater. You can’t miss the Art Centre: the beautiful old house right on the corner as you come up the hill from the Denman West Ferry. Each show has an opening reception  on a Thursday night. The gallery is open from 11:00 to 4:00 Monday to Saturday with shorter hours on Sunday from 1:00 until 4:00 PM.

August 21 to September 2: Maureen Drew : Water Studies

September 4 to 16th: Nicole Turnheim and Lynn Urban
